Special Performances
The St. George Community Choir loves sharing our faith through songs. We partnered with Holy Name of Jesus of Medina for a "choir extravaganza" where we performed as a joint choir at both churches, debuting a new 2-choir version of Ave Maria written by Kelly Kadlec for the occasion.
The St. George choir worked together to save their milk cartons and build this beautiful float in order to showcase their spirit at Corn Days in Long Lake. Then, they sang their way through the parade touting "TAKE UP YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW JESUS".
In 2017, we partnered with Immaculate Heart Church in Crosslake, MN, for our first choir retreat. We enjoyed the fine folks at Immaculate Heart so much and renewed our love for music ministry. Thanks to music director, Kathy Binsfeld, and Father Ryan for leading us so beautifully.
